Alberto Martin, Ph.D.
HEAD OF RISK & ANALYTICS
Alberto is Head of Risk and Analytics at Colchester Global Investors and has been with the firm since January 2017. He is responsible for enabling the efficient and effective governance of significant risks, for coordinating the Risk Management Framework and the Business Risk Committee. Prior to joining Colchester Alberto was Global Head of Investment Risk at Santander Asset Management. Prior to Santander he worked as IT Manager in Philip Morris International and was member of the Marie Curie program in the Institute for Transuranium Elements for the EURATOM program. Alberto holds a degree in Physics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, MSci in Science from King’s College London and PhD in Physics from University College London. He also holds a degree on MSci in Quantitative Finance from Escuela Finanzas Aplicadas Grupo Analistas Madrid and has several scientific publications in specialised magazines.

Keith began his career in 1983 as an international macro-monetary economist and investment manager. His work experience includes seven years with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as an economist where he served on its policy-making committee, followed by eight years at the World Bank. Keith spent a number of successful years in the World Bank’s Investment Department managing global real and leveraged money as a lead fixed income portfolio manager, senior investment strategist and proprietary trader. Keith has authored several exchange and interest rate papers.

Ian Sims, MSc.
CHAIRMAN & CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
Ian has enjoyed a highly successful career, beginning in 1980, in the field of global fixed income and currency investment management. His work experience includes fixed income portfolio management at the Royal Bank of Canada and Hill Samuel Investment Advisors. He became a founder and director of Delaware International Advisers, Ltd., where he worked for nearly 10 years. At the time of his departure he was Chief Investment Officer-Global Fixed Income. Ian has a strong academic background with graduate and post-graduate degrees in mathematics, economics and statistics, and has authored a widely read publication on the use of real yields in global bond management.
